ESR 10 – KINGS
Celine Deneubourg
Kings College London – KINGS- United Kingdom
Hi! I’m Celine, probably the youngest of the fellows and I just finished my master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at the KU Leuven in Belgium. The last year of my studies I spent in Norway for my master thesis, where the travelling microbe got to me and I decided to stay abroad a bit longer. For the DRIVE project I will be working at King’s College in London to characterize a new mouse model of the EPG5-related Vici syndrome. EPG5 is a key autophagy regulator, so I will investigate the effect of mutations on the role of autophagy in this mouse model, especially focused around neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration.
