My name is Mauricio Ramm and I am a doctoral candidate at University of Turku’s Institute of Biomedicine supervised by Professor Eeva-Liisa Eskelinen. My project aims to investigate the functions of the small GTPase RAB24 in neurons. Originally, I am from Germany where I obtained a Master of Science in Molecular Biosciences with a Major in Neuroscience from the University of Heidelberg. When I am not in the lab, I can mostly be found practicing for my first marathon or photographing.
