Hi! I am Babu Raman from India. I am a graduate with a master’s degree in Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India. I was working as project assistant for 1.5 years under the guidance of Dr. Palani Murugan at CCMB, India. Now, I started my adventurous phase (doctoral study) under the guidance of Dr. Fulvio Reggiori at the UMCG, Groningen, Netherlands. I am starting this journey with the hope to understand the regulation of phosphorylation/dephosphorylation mechanism in autophagy (fingers crossed :P). Apart from doing research, I love to spend time by playing badminton, basketball and football. Also, I like to travel to different places to enjoy the natural scenery and stargazing.
