About the Network: Women In Autophagy (WIA) was founded to carry on Beth Levine’s dedication to mentoring and training. The mission of WIA is to promote the careers of trainees and young scientists interested in autophagy through a dynamic and global network of mentors and trainees. WIA provides a platform for targeted mentoring activities and workshops and hosts the Beth Levine’s Legacy Annual Symposia.

About the Symbosium: The 1st annual symbosium is open for attendance after registration by members of WIA. Keyonte speakers are Sharon Tooze (The Francis Crick Institute, London, UK) and Daniel Klionsky (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA).
